September meetings

The first national conference in our MC term is over. After four years in AIESEC I thought that nothing could surprise me that much, but... life is always more resourceful than we expect.
In Iceland I was used to the fact that the conference agenda is prepared in last two days and finalized during the conference, but here I would never expect the same situation. We had such a nice and thought-out agenda... and then we had to rearrange it all because of blackout during the first 2 days...
Every experience like this brings new perspectives in one's life. I have never thought about dividing conference sessions in electricity-demanding and unplugged, but here it became the most important criterion... But we managed to run the conference successfully in these conditions and I believe it was an important moment in the life cycle of our team.

Back in reality

Indian adventure has slowly become history with all the positive and negative experiences. I am finally healthy again and I am happy that could experience it. Well, after some time one is able to find something positive in everything, even in stomach problems. Maybe it is not that easy to find somethig positive in losing my camera, however I was so lucky that Vaco from the Congress committee has rescued it for me.Right now we are preparing our first national conference in the term. First time I will meet the most of local leaders of AIESEC Slovakia and for the first time our team will present itself in front of a big plenary. I think that this will be the moment, when we will finally realize, what does it mean to be the MC.
