Long time no blogging...

It seems that my blogging activity gets hibernated each winter... I don't know why it happens exactly in this part of the year, perhaps there is no special reason... but whatever:)
I guess that soon I will be writing new posts with my most favourite topic (as you can notice from my blogging history) - concerts. Several interesting ones are scheduled for this year, just look at this:

Roger Waters (13th April, Sazka Arena, Prague) - the first visit of this guy in Prague was the first big concert I have ever attended. And even though I do not count it among the best ones I have experienced, still I can't miss the chance to see another performance of a guy, who led Pink Floyd during creation of albums like The Dark Side of the Moon or Wish You Were Here.

Marillion (19th May, Retro Music Hall, Prague) - again a band that I have already seen once and this WAS definitely one of the best music experiences of my life. Music of this band goes quite smoothly sometime there is more pop than rock, but still there is something deeper that you can listen to over and over... And the band's singer is the most incredible vocalist I know...

Genesis (20th June, Strahov, Prague) - the legend is coming back! The band has announced reunion tour, and even though it will be only the line-up from the eighties (thus without Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett) it is still something that one should not miss. And I do hope they will also play some of their best music they have recorded in seventies.

Tori Amos (21st June, Prague Congress Centre) - yep, just one day after the Genesis concert... Tori Amos is not the most typical representative of my favourite music, but I fell in love with her songs recently. Her music is incredibly emotional and strong and at the same time very humanly.

Threshold (hopefully in September in Stara Pekaren, Nitra) - I really hope this concert will be confirmed and I will have the chance to visit Nitra again, this time to see these british progressive metal guys, whose music is very energetic, but at the same time they are able to create beautiful melodies and "nice" songs.

And perhaps there might be more interesting concerts, because more of my favourite bands are releasing new albums this year and they will of course support them with live tours. 2007 looks like a very good musical year...

Yes, it should be Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutheford. Thus the line up which recorded album like Duke or We Can't Dance. But even though it is almost for sure that the core of the concert will be from these pop albums, I think they will definitely include something from the old stuff:)
