Being student again
I have finished my 6th semester in june 2004. Now after more than two years I have started to go to school again. Many people predicted me that it was going to be a hard experience for me due to forgetting everything, loss of contact with the school, study habits and motivation. However sure that I was going to remember hardly anything from my old lectures, I've been always rather optimistic concerning my return to school. Now in the middle of my second week in school I can say that often I feel like nothing has changed. When in school I feel pretty much the same as anytime before. There are boring lectures, which make me think, why the teachers don't spend the merest effort to bring the subject closer to students, there are exciting lectures, where the 90 minutes seem like twenty and which make me open the subject textbook after coming home in the evening.
But that does not mean that those two years did not leave any impact. Actually these have been the most impactful and mind-shaking years in my life so far. For the first time I have been something else than a student, I had to take care of myself in other countries, I got international experience... simply I have tried a different life. Therefore these two years are not just important for my future life & career (concerning experience I have, things that I have learned, people I have met), but also specifically for these 2 years that remain from mu university studies. Because you can only discover what you really have, when you try something different. Now I can see that I realize much more the advantages of being a student and I believe I will be able to enjoy these 2 years better than if having not experienced that time abroad.

Ahojky,

...where the 90 minutes seem like twenty and which make me open the subject textbook after coming home in the evening... - I thought you came back yo University of Economics. Which school you are studying right now?
